The Story of Four Pieces Warm Bread

This story was told during a sermon in my church about a week ago.

It occured during wartime, a starving little boy peered into a bakery. The baker was baking bread and the aroma wafted up to the boy's nose.

The little boy saw the baker prepared the finished bread on the table. How he wished deep inside his heart, he could have a bite of that warm bread. However, unfortunately, the little boy had no money.

Then a car came. A man got out of the car and walked past the starving boy into the bakery and bought four pieces warm bread. The little boy now staring at this man, wishing this man would give just one of the bread for him.

When the man walked out of the bakery, surprisingly to the little boy, the man gave him ALL of the bread he had just purchased to this starving little boy. He was shocked in happiness, didn't really think that during the famine somebody would give him food for real.

When the man had already got back into his car, this little boy hold the man's sleeve, and asked him, 'Are you Jesus?'

Life Lesson 101

Expectation is the root of all disappointment.

State it in mind.

Attachment is the root of all suffering.

Plant it deeply in mind, so deep that it become one kind of principle of mind.

And last but not least

You either get bitter or you get better. It's that simple. You either take what has been to you and allow it to make you a better person, or you allow it to tear you down. The choice does not belong to fate, it belongs to you.

Always choose the first. Use both logic and feeling any human have, wisely. Consider any consequences you have to deal with in both short and long term period. Remember that blaming other people or situation will never solve any problem. It's you who is responsible for every of your own decision in life.

I've found out more as I grow older, that real life's not as simple as black and white, good and evil, it's in fact quite complicated. Decisions sometimes are the result of splitting the differences after negotiating between two opposite poles...

--- Personal story
Cooked this last Saturday and I was more than satisfied, it tasted soooo good, really. The rice was less mushy to be stated as "nasi tim" , mom told me I should have added more water. There are so many blogs and videos sharing recipes and so far I've found my favourite: Just Try And Taste. The recipes are quite detail, many pictures for every steps so we can check whether we did it well or not. I've tried her chocolate fudge recipe before and it tasted good as well. Thank you for sharing recipes for us beginners to learn!

Giggle Box and Jonas Photo, Jl. Gatot Subroto No.11, Cimahi

I've had known this place before, when I was randomly on the way, I saw this red barn and screamed inside my head 'whoaa a cute barn, what is it?' . I thought that was a kind of amusement park like Farmhouse Lembang, turned out it was a new branch of GiggleBox and its soulmate Jonas Photo.

I finally visited this place one day in last December, I had to buy a pop up frame but unfortunately the one I need was out of stock in Jonas Photo IP, so I went here. And found myself amazed by the rustic and minimalsit design

Side window. Super love the rustic and minimalist theme, very well applied!

I thought the barn-look-alike exterior was just an accessories but the interior would be a whole different thing, turned out I was totally wrong. The interior was like a barn as well and it rocks!

Felt like a cow in a barn. yes?
a very well designed barn, super love!

different ambience of GiggleBox, still pleasurable tho!
Simple and clean

This window opened to the front

very barnish!

And behind the red barn, here Jonas Photo! I love the facade so much, it was minimalist and clean, framed with black painted listplank, blended in very harmoniously with the square patterned cement flooring.

Well, amazed by the freaking cute interior design, I wanted to have lunch here but my sister refused so

Today, just today, this very morning, half awake me going to bathroom in half darkness, when my eyes met an unknown moving object. I thought...
